Cloud of Witnesses is a community-supported project. While it is maintained by a small team, it has already benefited from the generosity of clergy, parishioners, historians, iconographers, photographers, translators, publishers, and countless others who have shared their knowledge, resources, and encouragement.

This page is dedicated to recognizing those who have helped preserve and share the history of the Orthodox Church.

The history of the Orthodox Church spans more than two thousand years, every inhabited continent, and thousands of saints. No single person—or even a small team—can uncover every manuscript, local tradition, historical record, photograph, or icon.

Every correction submitted, source recommended, translation shared, permission granted, or historical detail uncovered helps make Cloud of Witnesses a more accurate and valuable resource for everyone.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributes to this work.

There are many ways to contribute, including:

• Recommending reliable historical sources
• Suggesting corrections or clarifications
• Expanding biographies
• Sharing local parish or monastery histories
• Translating historical texts
• Providing photographs of churches, monasteries, relics, or historical sites
• Granting permission to feature icons or other artwork
• Identifying public-domain or freely licensed images
• Reporting broken links or technical issues
• Suggesting saints or historical topics for future expansion

Whether your contribution is large or small, it helps improve the database for future readers.
