Venerable Cornelius Abbot of Komel
Also known as Cornelius of Komel and Vologda
A noble-born monk who withdrew to the forest of Komel and there founded a monastery under a strict rule, becoming the teacher of many; among his disciples are Sts Cassian and Laurence of Komel.
