Amphilochios of Patmos
Also known as Elder Amphilochios · Amphilochios Makris · Athanasios Makris
An elder of Patmos, abbot of the Monastery of St John the Theologian and founder of the Convent of the Annunciation (1937); a confessor who sustained Orthodox education in the Dodecanese and founded orphanages and charities. He reposed on Patmos in 1970.
