Saint Neagoe Basarab
Also known as Neagoe Vodă Basarab
Prince of Wallachia (1512–1521), builder of the church of Curtea de Argeș and patron of Orthodox foundations across the Balkans and Mount Athos, and author of a celebrated book of counsels for his son. He reposed in 1521.
