Two devout young brothers, sons of Martha Boretskaya of Novgorod, noted for their works of charity, who were drowned in 1418 while exploring the northern lands near the mouth of the North Dvina and were buried at the Saint Nicholas monastery in Karelia. They are venerated among the saints of Karelia and commemorated with St. Euthymius, the founder of their monastery.
