Saint Kiril (Cvjetković) Confessor of Bezdin

Also known as Kiril Cvjetković · Cyril of Bezdin · Konstantin Cvjetković · the Confessor of Dalmatia and Boka

Born in the Bay of Kotor and tonsured at Savina Monastery, he served as protosyncellus to the Bishop of Dalmatia and stood with the Serbs of Šibenik against forced union with Rome. For that he was held in Austrian prisons until 1842, when he was released to serve out his sentence at Bezdin Monastery in the Banat, where he reposed in 1857.

Their life
